Help & Support
For Gassupop, a cozy habit tracker by EternalHobbyHopper.
Frequently asked questions
What is Gassupop?
Gassupop is a cozy habit tracker with a twist — finish your tasks to earn pulls from a capsule machine filled with rewards you set up yourself. Treats, breaks, little wins. You decide what's inside.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. Gassupop is offline-first — no accounts, no servers, no cloud sync. Your tasks, rewards, photos, and pull history live in local storage only.
If you uninstall the app, your data is removed with it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
I uninstalled the app — can I get my data back?
Unfortunately, no. Because Gassupop stores everything locally on your device and never sends anything to us, uninstalling permanently removes your tasks, rewards, and pull history.
If your device handles its own backup (iCloud, Google Backup), you may be able to recover via your system settings — but this is outside our control.
Can I sync my data across devices?
Not currently. Gassupop is built around a single device for now. Cross-device sync is something we're considering — let us know if it matters to you.
How does the capsule machine work?
Complete tasks to earn pulls. Each pull draws from your reward pool with a rarity system:
- Common rewards show up most often
- Rare rewards land less frequently
- Legendary rewards are the special ones
You define what each reward is, so the surprise is fully yours.
Is Gassupop free?
Gassupop is a paid app. The price you see on Google Play or the App Store is a one-time purchase — no subscriptions, no ads, no in-app purchases.
What permissions does Gassupop need?
Only what's needed, only when you use the feature:
- Camera — only if you take a photo for a reward
- Photo Library — only if you pick an existing photo for a reward
Photos stay on your device. You can revoke either permission anytime from your device settings.
Does Gassupop work offline?
Yes — entirely. Gassupop never needs an internet connection. You can use it on a plane, on the subway, or off-grid without a hitch.
Troubleshooting
If something feels off, try these steps in order before reaching out. Most issues clear up after a quick restart.
- Close Gassupop fully and reopen it (swipe it away from your app switcher, then tap to relaunch).
- Restart your phone — this resolves a surprising number of weird states.
- Check that Gassupop is up to date on the App Store or Google Play.
- Confirm you're on a supported OS — iOS 15+ or Android 10+.
- If a permission prompt isn't working as expected, check Settings → Apps → Gassupop and verify Camera and Photos access.
Found a bug? Have an idea?
We're a small operation and we read every message. Whether it's a crash, a typo, a feature wish, or just a hello — drop us a line.
For bug reports, the most helpful things to include are:
- Your device model (e.g. iPhone 14, Pixel 8)
- Your OS version (e.g. iOS 17.4, Android 14)
- The Gassupop version (find it on the app's settings screen)
- What you were doing right before the issue happened
- A screenshot or screen recording if you can grab one
Refunds & purchases
Gassupop is sold through Google Play and the App Store, so refunds go through them directly — we don't process payments ourselves.
Google Play: open the Play Store app → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → tap the purchase → Refund.
App Store: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and choose "Request a refund."
If you ran into an issue and refund is denied, write to us and we'll do what we can to help.
We'd love to hear from you
Questions, bugs, feature ideas, or just a wave — all welcome. We're one human reading these, so please be kind.
